Cats of Delphi, Mycenae, Epidaurus
We combined these three locations because they're all wonderful day trips from Athens. Mycenae is the site of a Bronze Age, ancient fortress and is truly a remarkable site. We found dozens of cats both in the parking lot and the grounds. All friendly of course. Delphi is breathtaking, and the site of the ancient Greek Oracle. The setting is truly something to experience. Not a lot of cats, but we managed to come across a few. Lastly, Epidaurus is another ancient healing center a few hours from Athens. LOTS of cats both on the grounds and in the parking area. They're really spread around so you can't miss them!
